With psychology, mindfulness and disability awareness weaved through every offer, Includes Psychology supports well-being through acceptance, unlearning and holding space for personal experience.
For organisations and systems, the concepts of psychological safety, acceptance and trust run through the planning and impact upon the organisation’s goals for change.

ABOUT INCLUDES PSYCHOLOGY
ABOUT ME
I am an HCPC registered Educational and Child Psychologist and Mindfulness Teacher with 10 years experience of working in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As a disabled woman, I draw on shared experience, disability studies, mindfulness and psychology when working with systems, groups or individuals to collaboratively achieve desired outcomes for all.
After 5 years practising within a Local Authority Educational Psychology Service, I came to realise that there were significant gaps in the SEND and education system in terms of how disability is understood, especially in terms mental health support, for neurodivergent and disabled children and adults.
Empowered by my motivation for change, advocacy and knowledge of disability, I aspire to help other practitioners understand the wide ranging impact of systems upon disability from a psychological perspective.
To fill the gaps I see in the system, I aim to provide inclusive psycho-education to support individuals to learn the skills they need to cope with life’s complexities and demands. With this in mind, I trained as a Mindfulness Teacher in 2023 and a Drawing and Talking practitioner in 2024.
I have a range of experience working in the following areas:
Autism
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
A wide range of learning difficulties
Genetic/rare conditions
Physical disabilities
Speech and Language Difficulties
Chronic and long term illness
Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties
Trauma
Child development
Emotionally Based School Avoidance
Whole school SEND and systems
Inclusion, empathy and connection are at the heart of my work.
